## Memberships Overview

A membership offers a personalized and streamlined customer experience, granting exclusive access to benefits while providing easy management of account details.

A membership entails receiving a unique code linked to a member's subscription, which must be used with the corresponding email during checkout. This exclusive code holds versatility, functioning both online and in-person. Members enjoy the privilege of applying this code for percentage or dollar-value discounts on tickets and various products. To monitor usage limits and conveniently update member information, individuals receive an embedded update link in their confirmation email.

## Membership Types

You can create two types of memberships for your cinema, annual and monthly. Learn more about them here.

### Annual Memberships

An annual membership paid up front offers year-round exclusive benefits for your film enthusiast customers ensuring an enhanced and cost-effective cinematic experience, as well as a means for them to support their local theater. Annual membership customers do not auto-renew and customers will receive a renewal email to submit payment their renewal and keep their same member ID at the end of their year. 

### Monthly Memberships

A monthly membership is a recurring, auto-renewal subscription service offering your film enthusiast customers exclusive benefits at your theater. It provides a cost-effective way for members to enjoy a personalized and enhanced cinema experience.
