To issue comp Rental Passes, you must first be logged into your site as an administrator.

Visit the checkout page for the Rental Pass you'd like to issue. There will be a checkbox next to the checkout fields labeled "Comp?"—if you check this, the payment method will change from Credit Card to Cash, and the cart amount will be lowered to $0.00. You can complete the checkout with your information or, more likely, the information (especially the email address!) of the customer you're issuing the comp to.
