If you're a cinema using Filmbot that also hosts festivals that use Filmbot, you can use your existing Box Office equipment for festivals as well.

## Setting up the Box Office App

After your festival site has been created, you can update a few settings in your cinema's current box office app to switch it to festival sales.

In the admin of your festival site, navigate to **Sales** > **Box Office** to find the URL for API\_ROOT, API\_DEVICE\_NAME and API\_KEY. These values will need to applied exactly as they appear to the corresponding fields in the Box Office app, and when the changes have been saved, showtimes from your festival site will be available via the datepicker, and all orders will be created in your festival site instead of your cinema site.

If you need to set up more than one station (for example, if you'll be selling tickets at more than one venue), email support\@filmbot.com and we can create them for you.

For more detailed instructions on setting up the box office app, please see [this article](https://support.filmbot.com/festival/setting-up-the-box-office-app).

## Card Reader Configuration

If you're using a separate Stripe account for your festival, you will need to re-register the card reader(s) for festival site use, then connect the box office app to the corresponding card reader(s) in the box office app's settings. For more detailed instructions on connecting card readers, please see [this article](https://support.filmbot.com/festival/setting-up-the-box-office-app#XO7hT).

## Restoring Cinema Configuration

When you're ready to switch the equipment back to your cinema's settings, you'll need to find and re-apply the API\_ROOT, API\_KEY and DEVICE\_NAME for the corresponding stations to make sure the reconfiguration is successful. Your cinema's API\_ROOT can be found in **Sales** > **Box Office**.

API\_KEYs and DEVICE\_NAMEs can be found in your cinema site's admin in **Sales** > **Stations**, and are listed on the Edit Station page after selecting the station name or the Edit link under the station name. The DEVICE\_NAME is the Identifier on the Edit Station page, and the API\_KEY is listed in the Api Key field.

If you're switching stations often, we recommend saving these values in a locked note on your iPad's Notes app so you can copy/paste the values more easily.

You'll also need to re-register your card reader(s) to your cinema's Stripe account, then re-connect the reader(s) to their corresponding box office stations. See [this article](https://support.filmbot.com/festival/setting-up-the-box-office-app#XO7hT) for more details on connecting card readers.
