Add Promotions to Membership Plans

you can add one or more additional promotions to any membership plan in your admin, which will allow your members to apply a promotion code or their membership code at checkout if any of your membership plans include free tickets, associating a promotion with the plan will make managing the member's free tickets easier for both parties adding promotions to membership plans in your membership plan editor, there's a section titled additional promotions where you can associate any published promotions with the plan the dropdown menu will display any promotions that aren't currently tied to a membership plan or a campaign screenshot of additional promotions dropdown menu in the membership plan editor you can select multiple promotions for the plan from the dropdown menu, but a promotion cannot be associated with more than one membership plan promotion codes because codes cannot be created for promotions attached to membership plans, these promotions will not appear in search results when selecting a promotion on the campaign editor you also cannot create a promo code by name for these promotions promotion benefits benefits provided by the additional promotions will be immediately applied to all existing and new memberships after the promotion is attached to the plan in the admin, and the benefits provided by the promotions will be reset when a membership renews for example, if the associated promotion provides 1 free ticket per month for a monthly membership plan, it will reset to 1 free ticket when the membership automatically renews each month if an annual plan provides 5 free tickets per year, the 5 tickets will reset for that promotion when the membership renews dual memberships if you add a promotion to a dual membership plan, the promotion benefits will double automatically for the following fields for the term of the membership discounted tickets allowed per code discounted tickets allowed per showtime discounted products allowed per code choosing benefit at checkout screenshot of web checkout showing dropdown menu for selecting member benefit after a member applies their member code at checkout, a dropdown menu will appear below the promo code or member code field that contains all valid benefits for the showtime if a promotion discount has a usage limit (like a set amount of free tickets or 50% off of 5 tickets), the customer will see how many tickets are remaining for the associated promotion if the associated promotion is no longer available, it will not appear as an option for the member on checkout box office app screenshot of box office app showing apply discount code search results for a member in the box office app's apply discount code search results, available discounts for members (including promotional benefits) will appear as separate rows the internal promotion id tied to the membership will be listed after their membership code, separated by two forward slashes the title of the associated promotion will appear in the type column, followed by the title of the membership plan in parentheses checking usage screenshot of membership details page showcasing additional promotions usage section if you need to check the usage of additional promotions for a member, you can select the associated membership code in memberships > purchased and view the usage information in the additional promotions usage section below the membership details section memberships report currently, data regarding promotion usage associated with membership plans is not included in the memberships report if you need to check usage, we recommend following the steps in the checking usage section above transitioning to new method if you're currently sending promotion codes to members via the campaigns functionality and would like to add promotions to membership plans instead, please write to support\@filmbot com so we can discuss options for how to best accomplish this proceeding without consulting our support team first may result in unintended issues
