Connect Your Stripe Account

Filmbot integrates with a service called Stripe.com so you can process credit card payments on your site and in the Box Office App.

Before you can begin selling tickets, you will need to sign up for and activate a Stripe.com account and connect it to your Filmbot site.

Here are the steps you need to take:

  1. Log into your Filmbot site's dashboard
  2. Navigate to Settings > Theater Setup > Sales, and click the "Connect with Stripe" button.
  3. If you have an existing Stripe account that you'd like to use, ensure that you see "Logged in as [your Stripe account email]". If it does not say that, then you will need to click the "Already have a Stripe account? Sign in" link, and sign into your Stripe account.
  4. If you do not have a Stripe account yet, you will need to fill out the form and provide your information so that Stripe can make charges on your behalf and send money to your bank account. If you have any questions about this form, please contact Stripe support.
  5. Click the "Connect my Stripe Account" button at the bottom.
  6. You will be returned to the Settings > Theater Setup > Ticketing page in your Filmbot dashboard with a success or error message at the top of the page.
  7. If the connection was successful, you are all set! You should now see the name of your connected Stripe account on the button.
