Comscore Nightly Grosses (formerly Rentrak)

Nightly Grosses Overview

The Nightly Grosses report (sometimes referred to as "Flash") is uploaded to Comscore every night at 3am as an XML file, where it is then imported on their end. The report includes film title and gross sales totals for that given day.

Only showtimes that have the “Include in Comscore Nightly Grosses?” checkbox checked in the Scheduler will be included. Showtimes for movies released in the last 6 months will have this box auto-checked for inclusion in the Comscore Nightly Grosses. To auto-check this checkbox by default for all movie showtimes (programs and special events are not sent to Comscore), go to Settings > Reporting > Third Party > Check the "Include all movie showtimes in Nightly Grosses by default?" checkbox.

Previously uploaded XML files from the past 14 days are available for download on the Nightly Grosses tab.

How to send an adjustment after a report has been sent

If you need to send an adjustment after a report has been sent, please first review the Scheduler to ensure the “Include in Comscore Nightly Grosses?" checkbox is checked for your showtimes. Then navigate to Sales > 3rd Party Reporting > Nightly Grosses and click “Send Adjustment” on any date from the past two weeks and submit the adjustment.
