Digital Signage
Creating a page with the Digital Signage template will provide you with a URL that you can load onto any web enabled screen at your cinema, typically in your lobby, that displays what's playing today and what's upcoming, along with your standard ticket prices.
Any device that can display and regularly update a URL connected to a 16:9 1080p display should work. Some partner cinemas have used BrightSign digital signage players connected to Samsung monitors.
Visit Pages > Add New, and create a page named "Digital Signage" or the like. Under Page Attributes, change the template to Digital Signage and click Publish.
You can then set up the template options:
Page Background Color | Defaults to Black, but any other color is available via the color picker. |
---|---|
Maximum Shows Per Row | Defaults to 3, more showtimes can be available but with smaller poster sizes. |
Ticket Pricing Title | Defaults to "Ticket Prices". |
Ticket Prices to Include | Which available Ticket Types should be listed on your sign. |
The top row will include today's showtimes, which will turn gray as they have passed, and/or be crossed out if they have sold out. The rows below will include what showtimes are upcoming based on the Start Dates you have set on various movies and events. The page refreshes automatically every 60 seconds.
Note: the template currently is only operational in Portrait mode.
