image preparation and guidelines the two main image types we use are portrait "poster" images, and landscape "production still" images for the portrait "poster" images, the aspect ratio we use is 8, or 4 units wide to 5 units high we recommend that the height be at least 1000px, although higher resolutions are often preferable it should generally be possible to upload poster size images as they're provided by distributors, even in the event they may not be at the precise ratio the landscape "production still" images may be presented at a variety of aspect ratios throughout the site we recommend a minimum width of 1920px for those images, to match a standard 1920x1080 1080p hd image larger images will look better if images will be used in a slideshow, it's best to ensure that they are all the same original aspect ratio to prevent content jumping note that the system will never enlarge an image, so, you need to make sure the original version that you're uploading is at least the same size as (or larger) than the largest version you'll need to use on the site uploading to the media library log into the dashboard of your filmbot site navigate to media > add new click the "select files" button and choose the image(s) you'd like to upload you can upload as many as you want at a time
