Link Membership Plans Across Domains
Filmbot partners who run multiple Filmbot domains, such as an organization that operates a cinema as well as a separate film festival, may want to set up Linked Membership Plans, which allow members to have benefits that can be redeemed on multiple Filmbot domains.

Before you read further, let's clarify the terminology we use to discuss this feature:
- The "current site" is the site where Membership Plans can be edited to allow memberships from another domain to be redeemed. All of the settings for this feature are configured in this site.
- The "linked domain" is the domain where memberships have been sold that you also want to be redeemable in your current domain. No settings need to be edited on the linked domain, and nothing will change about how members redeem their benefits there.
- A "linked membership plan" is a plan on the linked domain.
Once the Linked Membership Plans feature is enabled by the Filmbot team, there will be a new option to link to a membership plan from your other domain when creating a Membership Plan. At the bottom of the page, the "Linked Domain" box provides a list of available membership plans you can choose on the linked domain. By selecting a membership plan from this list, members with that plan will also be able to redeem the benefits from the plan you are editing on the current site.
Members can have different benefits on each domain using the same code: for example, on a festival site they could get 25% off each festival ticket, but on the linked cinema domain they could get $3 off one ticket per showtime and free popcorn. Note: two fields are unavailable on the current domain's plans when the Linked Membership Plans feature is enabled, Maximum outstanding tickets allowed at once and Maximum showtimes allowed per date.
