Each Campaign you send has an "Unsubscribe" link in its footer. Visiting that link will bring the customer to a page with an Unsubscribe button, and a message that lets them know they can press the button to unsubscribe from your promotional emails, but they will continue to receive transactional emails, such as order confirmations.

When the customer clicks that Unsubscribe button, we add them to a list in our database, specific to your site (if you have multiple locations, the list is shared across your locations). Any future campaign that you send will exclude the email addresses in that list. You can see that list of addresses which unsubscribed by visiting Settings > Theater Setup > Email, and scrolling down to Promotional Email Opt-outs > Existing Opt-outs.

That list is not manually editable, but if someone wants to remove themself from the list, they can click the same Unsubscribe link in the footer of one of your emails which was sent to them previously, click Unsubscribe, and then click Resubscribe (the unsubscribe button changes to a resubscribe button when it's pressed).

If you have an opt-out list managed by another email service, such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or a similar platform, you can add those opt-outs to your Filmbot site.

Visit Settings > Theater Setup > Email, and scroll down to Promotional Email Opt-outs > Additional Opt-outs. Paste in your opt-out list, one email per line. This list will be merged with the Existing opt-outs list when any Campaign is sent, and all of the addresses will be excluded.

We recommend keeping this list updated frequently, if you are using the other email platform regularly and sending automatic Campaigns from your Filmbot site at the same time.

If you don't send automatic campaigns from your Filmbot site, you can update this list before you send a one-off campaign, depending on whether you expect your other email platform could have registered some new unsubscribes.
