the shows list template outputs an alphabetical searchable, paginated index of shows (movies, special events, and/or programs) on your site the list is alphabetical if you'd like to have a chronological list of all your showtimes, you can use the schedule template, or create a custom ordered list of featured shows using the flexible template the front end output of these shows is controlled in the editor's show listing options section, which has the following options shows per page — defaults to 10 films & events per page adjust this number to increase or decrease how many films & events show up on each page of the index show types — there is a checkbox next to each of the three show types movies, special events, and programs each show type that is checked will be included in the films & events list, while any show type that is unchecked will be omitted exclude shorts? — unchecked by default when checked, only movies that are not shorts will show up in the shows list
